Simulation Engineer CFD & Lighting Development (m/f/d)

Our expertise lies in automotive lighting systems, electrical/electronic (E/E) systems, testing, and the associated engineering services.
For our location in Mladá Boleslav, we are looking for a Simulation Engineer in CFD & Lighting Development (m/f/d) to join our team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct sophisticated CFD simulations using state-of-the-art methods and software solutions, while actively contributing to the advancement of simulation methodologies and company-wide CFD expertise.
- Analyze and solve complex fluid dynamics challenges within innovative development projects.
- Perform numerical simulations and evaluations of technical systems using STAR-CCM+ and/or ANSYS Fluent.
- Prepare geometries, generate meshes, and set up simulation models using ANSA and other preprocessing tools.
- Work on projects involving thermal simulations, particle simulations, multiphase flow simulations, and chemical reaction modeling.
- Collaborate directly with customers on technical topics and present simulation results, findings, and solution approaches.
Your Profile:
- Successfully completed a degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification (e.g., certified engineering technician with extensive relevant professional experience).
- Solid experience in CFD simulation and excellent knowledge of STAR-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent, and ANSA.
- Experience in the automotive industry, ideally in the field of lighting development.
- Experience working with OEMs and suppliers is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking skills and an independent, structured working approach.
- Fluent Czech language skills (written and spoken) and good English communication skills; German language skills are a plus.
